# TO Strand # Ixopo State Aided # Awesome Experience We had a wonderful stay at TO Strand. The place is lovely and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially the facilitators led by SK. From the moment we arrived, SK gave us a clear breakdown of all events and kept us well informed throughout the following days. The learners were in safe hands and thoroughly enjoyed every activity, from wall climbing to kayaking. The evening beach walk was a highlight, with all facilitators being active and readily available to assist the learners. The chalets were clean and comfortable, and it was a real pleasure to reside in them for the two nights. As Ixopo State Aided Primary School, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the entire TO Strand team for making it such a memorable experience.

We had our son’s birthday party at TO Strand Resort, and everything was perfect! From the friendly and helpful staff assisting us with preparations, jumping castle setup, tables, chairs, and the delicious platters for both parents and children — everything was so well organised and beautifully done. Everyone had such a wonderful day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration! Thank you to the entire team for making our son’s birthday so special. 🎉 We will definitely be returning for the next birthday party! 🩷✨

We love TO Strand! The idyllic beach, the clean and well-run resort, the friendly and efficient staff and a culture of family fun that is safe is what brings us back every time. The guests enjoy the facilities and are friendly and respectful to one another. Thank you, TO Strand, for ensuring that the resort is safe, that rules are adhered to and for prioritising security. This is what keeps the standards high and we know that when we return the resort is just the same or better. (The upgrades and renovations are great too!) The ethos of the resort is felt in the care, enthusiasm and attention of all who work there. While we have stayed in a chalet, it is the campsites that we are most familiar with. We have camped at TO Strand more than ten times. As far as the campground goes, the ablutions are fantastic, bins and braais are cleaned daily, maintenence issues are dealt with swiftly and the grounds are mowed and neat. The walk to the beach is easy and though there are no sea views, one can hear the ocean whilst being nicely protected by coastal greenery. This special resort in Leisure Bay is worth a visit if you want to stay in a comfortable, affordable chalet or if you want to camp in a superb campground!

What a find TO Strand is. Great location on the beach with long walks on offer (we walked to Port Edward, about 40min). Well maintained, fully grassed camping stands, built-in braai, shady trees and newly renovated 5-star ablution facilities. The staff (reception and maintenance) are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The swimming pool is a treat, with crystal clear water, perfect for our morning swim and exercise. The coffee shop and cafeteria was a bonus, with a challenging putt-putt course. We will definitely be back. Fantastic special pensioner rate as well.

We where at T O Strand 2 years ago and bathrooms were stunning, always clean.. This April 2026 we had such a suprise as how the bathrooms were upgraded with a very modern look. Service friendly, the prices to stay is unbelievable affordable and you get so much more than what the money is worth. The restaurant close to the beach with swimming pool and bathrooms makes the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for an amazing experience.
