We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Scarborough. The view is absolutely stunning, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was such a special experience. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need — all you have to do is drop your suitcases and enjoy. It truly felt like a peaceful little escape by the sea. I would highly recommend it and would happily come back again.
The cosiest wooden cottage ever — such a special little escape. The views are incredible, and even though there are curtains, I never felt the need to close them. With the windows open, you feel completely connected to the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was pure magic. The shower was a highlight — a tiny wooden cabin within the cottage itself, beautifully done and surprisingly special. And the host, Janis, was wonderful — warm, welcoming, and made everything feel effortless. Already dreaming of coming back.
We stayed at Olive Cottage at the Nature Lodge and it was a superb get away. Magnificent views in a perfectly set up cabin. Great size and decor. It was really romantic, quiet and peaceful. There was a really good quality farm stall which had a bottle store for when we ran out of wine or supplies as well! Quiet, safe neighbourhood with a great beach and really good waves. I'll definitely be back next time im in the Western Cape.
Scarborough Nature Lodge is literally my favorite spot in Scarborough!! It's like a magical fantasy land with tall green leafy trees and stunning views of the blue sea. And the place itself is made of beautiful wood all put together so well. It honestly feels like PARADISE.
I have truly enjoyed my stay at the Scarborough Nature Lodge. It offered the solitude and stillness I deeply needed after the frenetic pace of city life—a space where I could pause, realign with my true self, and simply BE, held in silence and serenity, I found the room to reflect and reconnect, while the restorative power of nature could be deeply felt.
