We went to a funeral in Madibogo with our staff. We found this beautiful place on bookings.com. Melanie was a great host. So accommodating and helpful days before we arrived and during our stay. We can highly recommend this place if you in the North west province. Hope to go back under better circumstances and enjoy the nature. Thanks for hosting us.
Absolute great experience through and trough. Rooms are neat, clean and equipped with everything you will need and more. Even more equipped than I though for a self catering retreat. If I ever go back to this area again I will most definitely not stay anywhere else. What an absolute pleasure.
This farmstay is the perfect stop over to or from Kgalagadi and Augrabies, as it is only a short distance off the N14. The room was spotless, had everything we needed, and more than comfortable. The supper provided was a delicious home cooked meal.
The property is a nice distance from the tar roads, so no traffic noise but not so far that it can be considered an issue. The accommodation is very nicely renovated and private. Everything was clean and looked new. The outside has a spacious area where you can walk around and the private hide at the dam was also a nice surprise. The hosts are kind and friendly. The whole place just makes you want to stay a bit longer.
We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Barberspan Heritage View! The house is exactly what you see on the pictures, which beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and so much more. The accommodation was super clean. As self-proclaimed coffee snobs, we were thrilled to find top quality coffee waiting for us! The real magic begins the moment you step outside the front door. It’s truly a birder’s paradise. A heartfelt thank you to Poena, who guided us to all the best birding spots with such genuine passion. And when we got stuck in the mud, he arrived within minutes to help us out, smiling as if it was just another part of his day. The hospitality is what I would call super special.
