Three nights at Giants Cup Wilderness Reserve was exactly what we needed. Otter Cove Cottage sits overlooking a lake and mountain range, and the setting is absolutely beautiful: sunsets in the evening, birdsong in the morning, and very little reason to go anywhere else! The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, with a great bed, soft linen and a lovely indoor fireplace. The lake view from inside makes it even better. If you do want to get out then there are stunning walks around the property as well as lots of exploring to do along the Drakensberg Garden road. We found lovely coffee shops and restaurants nearby as well as many more breathtaking views! We'd go back without hesitation! (We also saw +-40 bird species while there!)
Most beautiful setting in utmost comfort and indulgence. Accommodation and amenities 5star rated for self catering. Personal touch of homemade bread and trout liver paté welcomed us. We miss it so much. Cannot wait to visit again.

Wow! What a gem Giants Cup Wilderness is. The setting is unbeatable and you basically have the place to yourself given there are only three cottages. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable with exceptional views.
Absolutely incredible week spent at the Otter Cove cottage! Friendly staff, wonderful hosts! Such a special place to escape to. Accommodation is clean, neat and very cosy. Loads of good trails about and some real sweet swimming spots nestled here and there. Will be back for the fishing!
