I have had the wonderful opportunities to stay repeatedly with Bev, Mandy and the staff at Gala Gala sometime for more than a week at a time. They make it feel like home from home and were so accommodating each time allowing me to catch up on work with great WiFi and coffee. For divers and snorkels this is THE best place to be - it's not on the main launch beach so there is privacy and not noisy. They arrange dive trips, snorkelling and a host of other activities.
We stayed at Gala Gala with our kids. We had the Deluxe 4 person cabana, which had a separate room for the kids and a kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Helped us go to a private clinic and Cicco stayed the whole time to help with translation. When our son was not well enough to go on the dolphin encounter, Bev arranged for my wife and son to go a day later, so all of us could enjoy that excursion!
The most relaxed spot in Ponta! The beautiful gardens, cats, dogs, birds, monkeys and butterflies. The staff are warm, welcoming and feel like family. Chef Tony makes the best chicken on this side of the equator. If you are looking for an ice cold 2M, this is where you will find it. This resort is not directly on the beach, however, in peak season you will be grateful to escape the noise, quad bikes and chaos of the beachfront. A meal at close-by Lua do Mar is not to be missed. The view is simply breathtaking.
Great place and concept. Location is perfect, easy to find and well signalled. It's a short 6/7 min walk to the beach. Which is great as there is no noise at all. Staff are super friendly and were able to get me a room with no Pre-booking. Room is cozy, bed and pillows are super comfortable, shower had lukewarm water, which was doable due to the weather, but I like my showers to be scalding. Well equipped kitchenette. Fridge needed some cleaning though. Great attention to detail in room decor, plenty of space to store clothes. Room has a safe.
Camping here for a week. Everything is clean and in working order. Swimming pool available. Located on the edge of the town and all closeby places to visit is within 10 km drive. Owner visited us and said hallo. Group camping available. Restaurants are walking distance from the resort and views are spectacular I can recommend Gala Gala resort for your next visit to Moz
