Although we did not stay here, we had a terrible experience trying to book the Fynbos Safari while in the area. I sent Deon a WhatsApp on Tuesday 10 February to enquire about the activity. On Friday 13 February I still didn't have a response, I tried calling but the call went to voicemail. On Monday 16 February I called again and it was unanswered. I then received a missed call from Marion, at that stage I didn't know she is Deon's partner. I called her back, and eventually had a booking for the Beach Buggy Fynbos Safari. Within an hour of making the booking, Marion sent a WhatsApp to cancel the booking as Deon had other commitments. I said we're available the whole week to which she replied she will get back to us. So, it's Friday 20 February and our holiday has ended without a Fynbos Safari. Thanks Deon and Marion. Hope you don't treat all potential customers like this.
AN OASIS OF TRANQUILTY I stayed for 3 blissful nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Farr Out Guest House. The town is in easy walking reach or if you prefer a quick drive. I had the best in-house massage I’ve ever had on all my trips to South Africa. The host are a great source of information and very helpful. The house is modern design, well insulated for sound and temperature variations and with beautiful, calming interiors. Accommodation is more luxurious than most places in town (stayed at other places before) and we will certainly return to Farr Out Guest House on our next trip. We can only highly recommend it
Had an amazing experience at Farrout. The hosts Marion and Deon were very welcoming and friendly. Top class service. Impressed with the attention to detail in the rooms and also around the guest house. Had an amazing experience in the hot tub and also enjoyed the beach buggy trip with Deon. Will definitely be back!
The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. We were very late arriving but the managed to get us a restaurant for dinner. They gave us great information about where to go and everything was spot on. The accommodation is first class. The only thing I would have liked is a microwave oven in my room but can't even complain about that. The breakfast was divine. We will definitely be back and really any one visiting the west coast should choose this establishment. What a great sleep in a very comfy bed and absolutely peaceful and quiet. Lovely.
