Everything is absolutely neat, clean and very stylish, quiet and our privacy was always respected. Need to inform you of the excellent service we received from Charlene Adams since we made the booking untill we booked out. She went above and beyond to get the room ready with all the request we had to make our wedding day special. She even helped bringing our breakfast to us.

The establishment is commendable, and its offerings are exceptional. However, a single complimentary bottle of water per room is a notable concern.

We had a very disappointing experience at Diaz Hotel and Resort. On 14th May around 8:30 PM, a housekeeping staff member entered our room, which we later found out was unusual according to the night manager , who clearly told us staff are not allowed to enter rooms at night unless requested by guests. My brother actually saw the staff member coming out of our room. Earlier that same day, we had already noticed that 100 USD was missing from my room and 200 USD from my brother’s room. At first we ignored it because we were unsure, but after seeing someone enter our room at night, we became suspicious that someone may have entered on the night of 12th May as well , the only time when neither of us were in the room. Our wallets were inside our luggage. What made the situation worse was the constant miscommunication from the hotel staff. The night manager / staff initially assured us that CCTV footage would be checked and shown to us before checkout. However, the next morning, we were suddenly told that nothing could be shown unless we filed a police complaint. Every staff member gave us different information: * One manager said housekeeping cannot enter rooms at night. * Another staff member later said they can enter to refill coffee sachets. * But our room already had full supplies, and even the used coffee sachet in the room was not cleaned or replaced. Nobody seemed to know what was happening, and no one was genuinely helpful. As tourists, being told to “file a police complaint” in another country just to check footage was extremely stressful and disappointing. All we asked for was confirmation and clarity. Please be careful with your belongings and keep valuables securely locked in your luggage, because you never know when things may go missing.

Frequently used this hotel when in Mossel Bay on both business and leisure. Always good service. Rooms are comfortable. Views are fantastic.
