Bushwhacked Outdoor Adventures invites you to Fiddlers Creek Campsite, a tranquil riverside retreat nestled along the banks of the mighty Orange River. Ideally located for travellers from both South Africa and Namibia, this scenic destination offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, relaxation, and outdoor adventure.
With flowing river views, shaded campsites, and exciting rafting experiences, Fiddlers Creek is ideal for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and travellers looking for a unique outdoor escape.
Fiddlers Creek Campsite offers both traditional camping and comfortable glamping options, allowing guests to choose their preferred style of stay.
Campsites - The property features 14 grassed campsites set along 200 metres of riverfront. Each site provides a peaceful environment for tents or caravans, with access to shared ablution facilities offering hot and cold running water.
Glamping Units - Six thoughtfully designed units offer added comfort while maintaining a close connection to nature:
Glamp 1 - Pitched tent with 2 single beds, bedding, lighting, electricity, and towels.
Glamp 2 - Similar setup with 2 single beds and shared facilities.
Glamp 3 - Riverfront pitched tent with 2 single beds.
Glamp 4 - Built-in caravan with 2 single beds, bedding, lighting, electricity, towels, and air conditioning.
Glamp 5 - Caravan-style unit offering similar comfort and amenities.
Glamp 6 - Pitched tent with 2 single beds in a tranquil setting.
Please note: Glamping units are not en-suite and do not include appliances, crockery, or cutlery.
200m Riverfront Access - Direct access to the Orange River.
Grassed Campsites - Comfortable and scenic camping areas.

This is the company to go with for a guided river tour! The trip was well organised, delicious food with veggie options, and our guides went the extra mile to assist us - Shout out to Kenneth and Christian! Highly recommend.
Tent got cut open with a knife while I was sleeping in it, and my items stolen by two men, while I was in the tent! The thieves had cut a hole into the perimeter fence. Campsite staff told us afterwards that holes have been cut into the perimter fence before, but there was no sign of any security put in place! Owners have done nothing to make this right. I am absolutely traumatised.
Beautiful peaceful campsite with wonderful owners and staff. Our home away from home when we're at Vioolsdrift. Was there 3weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here again.
Our second trip with Bushwhacked. The river was in flood, but the guides Lood, Alistair and Dane made us feel safe at all times ( and kept us well fed). Back at base, Maudie was kind enough to organize accommodation for us in Springbok, as they were expecting to be flooded. If you are planning an Orange River trip, this is the company to use.
Clean facilities and well looked after ! We camped for a night and really enjoyed the food and kayaking activity Thanks so much and will come back again ! Bonus - you can play volleyball 🏐 there’s a basic net that you can use .
