I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages since our stay in late March, because this was such a special experience and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt so at home and peaceful. The horses were absolutely beautiful and clearly very well cared for. It’s obvious that Nicky is a true professional who genuinely loves what she does. We felt safe, supported, and confident throughout the entire experience, especially during our trail ride. The ride itself was long, scenic, and a lot of fun. One of the most special parts was that we were able to canter during the ride- including my partner, who cantered for his first time! It was such a memorable experience for both of us. The cottage was also lovely. Quiet, spacious and very comfortable. We were delighted to have a furry visitor (one of Nicky’s dogs) who welcomed us there upon our arrival as well. 😊 Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
Nicky is the best! With absolutely zero horse riding experience I had the best trail ever! She is so experienced and the horses are very well trained. Absolutely recommend and I will definitely return to this lovely place.
I go riding here with my kids each year when we are in Knysna on holiday. It's such a relaxing and happy experience. The horses are very well trained and responsive, Nicky is a wonderful guide, and the farm is beautiful. Love it.
Horse riding here is an absolute must when visiting the Knysna/Plett area! 🌿 I can’t recommend it enough! I’m a complete beginner, but Nicky made me feel so comfortable and confident on the horse. The trail we followed was nothing short of magical, an adventure through the beautiful farm wilderness. Nicky is truly one of the kindest people I’ve met, incredibly knowledgeable and full of fascinating facts as you ride. An unforgettable 5/5 experience! 🐴✨
Heaven on earth! Such a beautiful and peaceful place to experience :) Nicky got a great personality and we really enjoyed our guided tour with her. The horses are very well trained and she knows the area and history of the location very well. Thank you again for the amazing experience with U! We stayed a little longer after the horseback riding and explored the farm by ourselves. If u get the chance to visit - Go for it! :) highly recommended.
