We were met by owner himself who took the time to introduce himself and welcome us to Arniston. We camp more than anything else, and very seldom stay in Guest Houses. That may change slighly from now after this wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the room was super clean and comfortable and we had one of the best breakfasts ever! We did not have dinner there, but went through the menu and regret not doing so. It was exceptionally quiet and relaxing. When we head back in that direction this will be our choice for accommodation, without a doubt. Thank you to BlueSky for their hospitality!
Nice hotel to spend the night to rest, but there is only the beaches and the dunes around the town, and unfortunately it was really cold for most of the activities in Arniston. There were few options for dinner in the town, and we solve to dine at the hotel, which required reservation. The food was good. The heater was not enough for the cold night. The shower was exceptional, but we needed to dry up fast, so cold the bathroom was. The bed was good, at least the blankets were good to stand the cold night. The breakfast was really good, and was almost a brunch the following morning
The Blue Sky Guest House was truly perfect! A warm friendly welcome by our host, beautiful clean, spacious, airy rooms and lovely communal reading room with great reference books really enhanced your visit. The breakfast has a wide range of options to suit everyone and we had dinner here both nights and each meal was delicious! The village of Arniston with its traditional fisherman’s cottages winding along the coast is stunning. It’s also a good place to stay to visit L’Agulhas, the southern most tip of Africa. Thank you to all at Blue Sky for a most memorable stay.

Perfect accommodation inclusive of breakfast, offered by hosts Uwe and Jill, in quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes' walk from the shore. Dinner available on order. Splash pool on site. Licensed, with wide variety of liquor. The daily involvement of the hosts results in a homey-like stay in this well cared for establishment, catering for adults only.
